How does the process work?
We keep renting a golf cart or LSV simple so your vacation stays easy and fun. First, choose the cart that fits your group, either a 4-seater or 6-seater. Then select the dates of your stay. Weekly rentals are based on either Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, so be sure to choose the check-in and check-out dates that match your trip. After that, enter your delivery address and complete checkout. You can upload a photo of your valid driver’s license and insurance card during booking, or you can upload them later when you receive your rental agreement by email. We will have your cart ready for your arrival and will pick it up on the morning of your departure.
Are your carts street legal?
Yes. Our rental carts are street-legal LSVs, which means they are designed for use on roads where LSVs are permitted. They are a great option for getting around the Outer Banks for local cruising, shopping, dining, and vacation transportation.
Who is allowed to drive the cart?
Drivers must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, carry insurance, and be listed on the rental agreement. Only approved drivers listed on the agreement may operate the vehicle.
Where can we drive the cart?
Our carts are intended for legal road use in permitted areas. They may not be driven on sand, beaches, off-road trails, through standing water, or in unsafe conditions. They can drive on any road 35 MPH or less and can cross at lighted intersections. Please reference this attached map showing the road way use as an LSV. https://gis.darecountync.gov/golfcarts/
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes! We offer delivery and pickup in for Nags Head, Manteo, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, & Duck, . Delivery details will be confirmed with your reservation so you know when and where to expect your cart.
When will my cart be delivered and picked up?
Your cart will be delivered so it is ready for your arrival. Pickup takes place on the morning of your checkout date. We provide reminder communication before delivery and pickup so you know what to expect.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 30+ days out for a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. 15–29 days: 50% refund. 14 days or less no refund will be issued.
